Wiston "Pete" McCarty officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA. Visitation will be Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA from 4 PM until 8 PM. Mrs. Braddock was born January 10, 1921 in Liddieville, LA to the union of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Lindsey and passed from this life on December 9, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family. Mrs. Braddock was a member of Holum Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marshall Braddock; son, Maurice Braddock; son-in-law, James Lowrey and daughter-in-law, Bonnie Braddock. Survivors include her sons: Berl Braddock and wife, Myrtis of Grayson; Lawrence Ray Braddock and wife, Helen of Grayson; Benny Braddock and wife, Jimmie of Grayson; Mark Braddock and wife, Alice of Grayson; daughters: Elaine Simons and husband, James of Grayson; Maurine Lowrey of Sterlington; Marjorie Cain and husband, Rocky of Start; Jean Crain and husband, Dale of Grayson; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Carl Simons, Kim Simons, Ray Braddock, Stephen Braddock, Brad Crain, Wesley Crain, Kyle Crain, Matt Braddock, and Kevin Lowrey. The family asks that any planned memorials be made to the Holum Baptist Church Building Fund.
