Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA

Services for Erlene Brannon, 85, of Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M., 
Thursday, October 16, 2008, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe 
with Rev. Billy Aulds officiating. Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park 
Cemetery.

Mrs. Brannon died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Northern Louisiana Medical 
Center in Ruston following a brief illness.

Mrs. Brannon, a homemaker, was previously active as an Eastern Star and was a 
member of Ambassador Baptist Church of Swartz.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Gerald Brannon; sons 
Ovanda and Tom Brannon; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and J.W. Davis; son-
in-law, David Chisenhall; and grandson, Roy Chisenhall.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Tom Smith of Ohio; 
daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla and Bill Upshaw of Ruston; son and daughter-
in-law, Jim and Ann Brannon of Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Sharon Brannon of 
Monroe; sisters Dory Oliver of Monroe and Floria Brower of Georgia; 14 
grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Todd Finley, Kenneth Drummond, Bill Upshaw, Jimmy Wayne 
Davis, Darrell Davis, and Robby McGrew.
