Billy Aulds officiating. Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Brannon died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Northern Louisiana Medical Center in Ruston following a brief illness. Mrs. Brannon, a homemaker, was previously active as an Eastern Star and was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church of Swartz. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Gerald Brannon; sons Ovanda and Tom Brannon; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and J.W. Davis; son- in-law, David Chisenhall; and grandson, Roy Chisenhall. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Tom Smith of Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Priscilla and Bill Upshaw of Ruston; son and daughter- in-law, Jim and Ann Brannon of Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Sharon Brannon of Monroe; sisters Dory Oliver of Monroe and Floria Brower of Georgia; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Todd Finley, Kenneth Drummond, Bill Upshaw, Jimmy Wayne Davis, Darrell Davis, and Robby McGrew.
