SYBIL IRENE RICHARDSON BRANTLEY

Funeral services for Sybil Irene Richardson Brantley, 91 of Rocky Branch will 
be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Pleasant Hill Baptist 
Church. Bro. Brian McCalister and Bro. Paul Carter will officiate. Interment 
will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe.

She was born September 7, 1921 in Rocky Branch, LA and passed away February 11, 
2013 in Rocky Branch, LA. She was a dedicated educator that loved all her 
children that she taught and retired after 30 years of teaching with the 
Ouachita Parish School Board. Mrs. Brantley was a graduate of LSU and avid LSU 
fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.G. "Boone" Brantley and a 
daughter, Sybil Renee Brantley and her parents, Robert and Winnie Richardson.

Mrs. Brantley is survived by her son, Richie Brantley; granddaughters, Holli 
Brantley Hayes, Brandi Brantley; grandson, Boone Brantley Jr.; great-
granddaughters, Katy Craighead, Klayr Hayes; great-grandsons, Tyler Godina, 
Gage Godina, Braxton Godina, and Ayden Greenwell.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Godina, Boone Brantley Jr., Jon Richardson, Barry 
Hayes, Scooter Barkley, Mike Canterberry and Gage Godina.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Richardson III, Kenny Brantley and Bat 
Brantley.

A special thanks to Misti Godina for the love and special care and friendship 
over the past 2 years.

Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist 
Church.
