STEPHANIE CLAIRE EAST BRANTLEY

Stephanie Claire East Brantley passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by 
her loving family and friends on Friday afternoon, July 18, 2014. She was 67 
years old. Beloved wife of the late Carl Brantley Jr. Best friend of Joyce 
Naquin. Loving mother of Carmen Williams Carrasco. Step-mother of Carl "Buster" 
Wayne Brantley, the late Tammie Breazeale and the late Jimmy Dale Brantley. 
Grandmother Nina Chauvin (Johnny Jr.), Stephanie Vazquez (Roberto), Hayley 
Nieto, and Danielle Brantley Rudd (Robert). Great-Grandmother Johnny "Trey" 
Chauvin III, Tommy Chauvin, Leyah Gamez, Izzabel "Izzy" Vazquez. Sister of 
Juanita East and Charles East. Step-sister of Aubrey Brumfield and Janice 
Brumfield. Daughter of the late Donald and Edwina East. Also survived by 
numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Stephanie was a native of McComb, 
Mississippi and resident of Waggaman for the majority of her life. She was a 
graduate of Ouachita High School in Monroe and was an Assistant Manager for Big 
Lots for 17 years. Stephanie always had a great sense of humor, enjoyed 
everything and everyone in her life, and anyone who knew her had to love her. 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation from Westside LEITZ-
EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Thursday Evening, July 24, 2014 
from 6:00 until 9:30. A service will be held at 7:30. Interment will follow on 
Friday in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb, Mississippi at 2:00 p.m. An online
