Burial will follow at the church cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria. The family asks that visitation be observed Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Mr. Breland, 65, of Deville, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at his residence. He proudly served our country as a United States Marine in Vietnam and during his working career he was a Fire Fighter in Monroe, Louisiana, and a detective in Newark, New Jersey and a materials control manager at GM. He was a member of Longview Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father and grandfather that will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray Breland and Fern Stiles and sister, Tammy Alford. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Emily Breland, step-mother Clorice Breland; sons, Ron Breland (Helen), Gary Rose, Daren Richey (Lainie), Clay Richey (Nicole), Jeff Richey (Pamela); brothers, David Breland, Tommy Turner,and Terry Turner; sisters DeJuanna Busby, Nancy Penninger, Carolyn Gray, and Rita Wiedaman; and twenty grandchildren, Brandon, Jordan, Alexis, Annalee, Landon, Garrett, Rosalee, Malee, Gary, Jake, McKenzie, Jared, Chelsea, Austin, Bailey, Jordyn, Tyler, Riley, Abigail,Kevin; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gary Breland , Mickey Reed, Kevin Holmes, Cecil Leonard, Vernon Marshall, Sam Landry, and Don Kendrick. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon and Garrett Richey.
