Betty was a retired special needs bus attendant for Ouachita Parish School Board and a volunteer with hospice. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, West Monroe, and of the Agape Life Group. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, R. P. Brendle. Survivors include her children: David Brendle and wife, Linda of Emory, TX; Sharon Fitzsimmons, and Debra Fulmer and husband, Jesse of West Monroe; sisters, Dorothy Smith of Menard, TX, and Jerry Woodard of Astoria, OR; grandchildren, Krista Lindsey and Todd Fulmer; great grandchildren, Chloe Powell and Bailee Fulmer. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the One Thing/Student Building Fund at First Baptist.
