WILLIE RAY BRISTER

Funeral services for Mr. Willie Ray Brister will be 2pm Monday, December 1, 
2014 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Columbia, La with Rev. Roger Baker and 
Rev. Cecil Herrington officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist 
Church Cemetery in Columbia under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West 
Monroe. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until 5:00pm Sunday, November 20, 2014 
at Griffin Funeral Home and from 12:00 noon until time of service on Monday at 
the church.

Mr. Brister was born November 4, 1931 in Sikes, La and passed from this life on 
November 28, 2014 in West Monroe at the age of 83.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Johnnie Mae Brister of West Monroe; one 
son, Mark Brister of West Monroe; and one daughter, Jen Brister Albritton & 
husband Scott of West Monroe; four grandchildren, Matthew Brister, Marsha 
Brister, Josh Culpepper, and Shelby Brister; four great-grandchildren, Bailey 
Brister, Braxton Brister, Makayla Hudson, and Treyson Hudson; and a host of 
extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Scott Albritton, Randy Barnett, Lynn Brister, Michael 
Brister, Adam Brister, and Charles McGuire.
