ALLEN "CARL" BRISTER

Funeral Services for Allen "Carl" Brister, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be held 
2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 21, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 
West Monroe with Don DeLukie and Danny Johnson officiating. Interment will 
follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA.

Mr. Brister was born January 23, 1931 and left this earth to be with the love 
of his life V.C., on March 19, 2015. He was retired from Olin-Kraft and also 
from Brister Used Cars where he was owner and operator. Carl was preceded in 
death by his wife of 57 years, V.C. Brister; grandchild, Timothy Kyle Brister; 
and numerous siblings.

Those left to cherish his memory are his three children, Mike Brister and wife 
Janice, Teresa Brister Smith and husband Andy, and Keith Brister and wife 
Cheryel; grandchildren, Will Brister and wife Annie, Darren Brister and wife 
Brandi, Jacob Brister and wife Katy, Josh Robbins and wife Rebekah, Chris 
Brister and wife Kristina, Jannah Ward and husband Chad, Ryan Smith and fiancée 
Lacey, Stephanie Hibbard and husband Caleb, and Elizabeth Smith and fiancée 
Zac; thirteen great-grandchildren and two on the way; sister, Lorene Holland; 
sister-in-law, Eddie Taylor and husband Franklin; brother-in-law, Perry 
Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Brister's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 20, 2015 
at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
