ALLIE MAE TANNEHILL BRISTER
Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA

Funeral services for Allie Mae Tannehill Brister, 85, of Monroe, LA formerly 
of Rayville, LA will be held 3:00 P.M., Friday, November 20, 2009 at Brown-
Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Elder Rick Myers and Elder M.J. 
Asbell officiating. Interment will follow at Stevenson Cemetery, Rayville, LA.

Allie Mae Tannehill Brister was born August 3, 1924 in Baskin, LA and passed 
away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Brister was a member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, Oak Grove, LA. 
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben Tannehill; second husband, 
M.H. Brister; parents, George and Nancy Stephenson and ten brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Janie Tannehill of Monroe, LA; sons, Benny 
Tannehill and wife, Dorothy of West Monroe, LA and Freddy Tannehill and wife, 
Rose of Holly Ridge, LA; sister, Nell Martin and husband, Jake of Ruston, LA; 
sisters-in-law, Elsie Stephenson, Zelma Stephenson, Ida Calendar, Kay Johnson, 
Fanny Jo Stephenson, Ethel LaCroix; grandchildren, Jeff Tannehill and wife, 
Nicole, Kim Batteford and husband, Clint, Chad Tannehill and wife, Bridgett, 
Nick Tannehill and wife, Cassandra, Amanda Tannehill, and Ben Tannehill; seven 
great grandchildren; special brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Liz Brister.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are Timmy Stephenson and Mike Stephenson.

Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until the service, Friday, at Brown-Holley 
Funeral Home.
