Monday May 14, 2012 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Ricky Baker and Rev. Milton Pray officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. Ms. Broadway was born on August 27, 1932 and passed away on May 12, 2012 in West Monroe. She was a member of the Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe. Ms. Broadway was a teacher with the Ouachita Parish School System for over forty years. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Lottie Broadway; brother George E. Broadway and sister, Annette Gordy. Survivors include her niece and caregiver, Betsy Broadway; sisters, Clara Ola Clark, and Dorothy Kay Taylor; brothers, Marion L. Broadway and Nathaniel Broadway; and by a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers will be her great- great nephews. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday May 14, 2012 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
