WILLIAM "BILLY" BROOKS 

Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services Baytown, TX 

William "Billy" Brooks, 54, of Baytown, TX was born June 5, 1953 in Monroe, LA 
and passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at his home. He graduated from 
Ouachita High School and the Northeast Louisiana University School of 
Pharmacy. He was a member of the Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church in 
Baytown and the Texas Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the Texas Pharmacy 
Association. He was a history buff, enjoyed traveling and football, and was a 
big fan of the Louisiana State University Tigers. He was preceded in death by 
his father, Samuel O. Brooks Sr. and brother-in-law, Johnny Spurlock. He is 
survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary Brooks and son, William Robert "Billy" 
Brooks, both of Baytown; mother, Billie Brooks of Monroe, LA; brothers and 
sister-in-law, Samuel Brooks Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA and Gary A. and Mary 
Brooks of Monroe, LA; nephew and niece, Alan Brooks and Lauren Brooks, both of 
Monroe, LA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie and Cary Brooks and Ruth 
and Jerry Miller, all of West Monroe, LA and Glenda Spurlock of Minden, LA; 
his cat, Sol; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 PM 
until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM 
at Navarre Funeral Home with Chaplain Linda Tolon officiating. At his request, 
he will be cremated afterwards. In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions
