WAYMON ARTHUR "JACK" BROOMFIELD

Waymon Arthur "Jack" Broomfield , age 87, of Dodson, LA, passed away Thursday, 
August 21, 2008, at Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, LA.

Mr. Broomfield was a member of the Dodson Church of Christ and was employed in 
the timber industry for many years.

He is the son of the late Benjamin Broomfield and the late Nora (Cody) 
Broomfield.

Mr. Broomfield is survived by: one son Steve Sharp and his wife Janet of 
Dodson; one granddaughter: Cynthia Sharp Murray of Monroe; one grandson: Kasey 
Conley of Dodson; two sisters: Cherry Young of Jonesboro and Linda Terral of 
Dodson; and one brother: Garland Broomfield of Jonesboro.

Funeral services for Mr. Broomfield will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at the 
Dodson Church of Christ with Bro. Earl Hartsell officiating. Burial will 
follow in the Transport Cemetery near Dodson under the direction of Southern 
Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Friends may visit with the family beginning on Friday, August 22, 2008 at the 
church from 5:00 PM until time of services on Saturday.

Pallbearers will be: Richie Broomfield, Michael Broomfield, Conrad Broomfield, 
Jr., D. J. Leach, Christopher Tippen, and Shawn Coleman.
