ALTA DAWN HALL BROUSSARD

A memorial service for Alta Dawn Hall Broussard, age 56, will be held at 
Delhi United Methodist Church of Delhi, Louisiana, November 5th at 11:00am. 
Reverend Henry Stone will be officiating the service.

Dawn was born January 8, 1960 and passed away on July 15, 2016 in Meridian, 
Mississippi. Preceding her in death were her parents, Wallace T. Hall and 
Iva Cox Hall. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Broussard and two 
daughters Rachel Broussard Johnson and her husband, David, and Lillian-Lee 
Broussard. She is also survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, 
Cecilia and Robert Widner, and numerous cousins.

Dawn graduated from Delhi High School in Delhi, Louisiana and from the 
University of Louisiana in Monroe, Louisiana. In her earlier years, she 
taught at various schools in Richland Parish. She later became a stay at 
home mother of two.

Just like her mom, Dawn was a very talented person. She could take anything 
and make it into something beautiful. She was also a talented cook who 
always advised, "When you smell it, it's done." Between her striking beauty, 
infectious laughter and sweet smile, she touched many lives. She will be 
missed dearly by her friends and family.

Memorials may be made to MD Anderson Medical Facility or the Delhi United 
Methodist Church of Delhi.
