LOYD W. BROWN

FARRAR FUNERAL HOME

Farmerville, LA.

Mr. Loyd W. Brown "Dagwood" owner of Brown's Vacuum Truck Service, worked in 
the oil and gas field for many years in Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama, before 
finally settling in Sterlington, LA. He was born on March 14, 1932, and passed 
away on July 7, 2008.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday , July 10, 2008 at Promise 
Land Cemetery near Farmerville with Rev. Dennis Hackler officiating. Visitation 
will be from 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Farrar Funeral Home in 
Farmerville.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Grace LaForce and Jack Brown; and one 
son David A. Brown.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years Doris M. Brown, daughter, Sue Pitarro, 
of Sterlington. Sons, John & Teresa Brown of Sterlington. Don & Stacye Brown of 
Monroe. Grandchildren: Cammy Cormier and husband Jamie, Chad Pitarro, Jake 
Brown and wife Carla, Wendy Aufdenspring and husband Steve, Jennifer Brown and 
fiancée Brad Colquette, Ashton Brown and Fiancée Kenny Thompson, Dave Brown and 
Jonathan Brown. Step grandchildren, Jake and Olivia Armand. Two great 
granddaughters, Courtney Cormier and McKenzie Brown. Sisters, Loyce Thomson of 
Royce City, Texas. Joyce Lucas and husband Billy of Kingston, OK. Nelly Brown 
of Bowie, Texas. Brothers, Orvin LaForce and wife Mercedes of Mt. Vernon, 
Texas. Wayne LaForce and wife Connie of Olathe, KS. Bill Brown of Bowie, Texas 
Grandsons and grandson-in-laws will serve as pallbearers.
