MARGARET BROWN

Margaret Brown was born on May 16, 1935 in Columbia, La to the union of 
Charlie and Beulah Howell and left this life on March 31, 2014 at the age of 
78 in Monroe, LA. She was a homemaker and a resident of West Monroe, LA.

Funeral service will be Thursday 3:00p.m. at the chapel of Griffin Funeral 
Home in West Monroe with Brother Terry Mims officiating. Visitations will be 
Wednesday, 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m and Thursday 12:00p.m.-3:00p.m. at Griffin Funeral 
Home. Burial will follow services at Mulhearn Memorial Park, Monroe, LA under 
the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Virgil Brown Jr. and her parents, 
Charlie and Beulah Howell.

She is survived by her daughter, Allison Mobley (Dewaine) of West Monroe; 
siblings, Charles Howell (Marie) of Monroe; James Howell of Columbia; Marlene 
Beckley (Harris) of Columbia; grandson, Brandon Mobley (Candi); great 
granddaughter, Bailey Mobley; great grandson Mobley to be here soon and a host 
of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tyron Beckley, Traci Howell, Chris Barnes, Dustin 
Campbell, Derek Mobley, Wade Dickerson.
