WILLIAM BROWN

Funeral Services for William "Bill" Brown, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held 
at 2:00PM Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Community Baptist Church, West Monroe with 
Rev. Danny McIlveene officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial 
Park Cemetery, Monroe. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday, 
May 27, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Bill was born on October 1, 1932 in Sheridan, Arkansas and passed away on May 
26, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. He was a deacon at Community Baptist Church. Bill 
was a dedicated coach for many years teaching youth various sports. He was an 
avid golfer. Bill will be remembered as a generous man by always doing for 
others. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and 
friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Ruby Brown; wife, 
Jacqueline Fay Hutton Brown; wife, Evelyn Jones Brown; sons, Billy Ray Brown and 
Tommy Joe Brown; great-grandson, Seth Turner; great-great granddaughter, 
Trinadee Aday; sister, Dorothy Winston; brothers, J. T. Brown, Bobby Brown, 
Dewey Brown; and son-in-law, Terry Rogers.

Bill is survived by wife, Sue H. Brown; daughters, Lorene Rogers, Margaret 
Basey, Ruby Brown and partner Jane Harper, and Estella Bandy and husband Tommy; 
step-daughter, Kristi Husher; brothers, Jimmy Brown and wife Martha, Truman 
Brown and wife Merrilyn; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Billy Harold Rogers, Eric Turner, Jerry Rogers, William 
Bandy, David Turner, and Joseph Basey.
