Elder Allan Eppinette will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Alice Faye Brown, a former LPN at Sterlington Hospital, was born July 8, 1947 at Jones, LA to LaFaye Chappell Turner and the late Cubee Turner. She passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospital in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her father; her husband, Bill Brown, a daughter, Taisha Ann Hicks and a grandson, Aaron Hicks. Ms. Alice is survived by her mother, Faye Turner of Bastrop, LA; her two daughters, Dara Eppinette and her husband, Allan of Sterlington, LA and Tina Ivey and her husband, Shaun of Starkville, MS; a brother, Ronnie Turner of Bastrop, LA and a sister, Sharon Echols and her husband, Chuck of Bastrop, LA; six grandchildren, Casey Wallace, Amber Eppinette, Kristin Hicks, Gage Hicks, Seth Eppinette and his wife, Vanessa, and Hannah Givens and her husband, Samuel; and six great-grandchildren, Lola Eppinette, Bella Ryder, Brie Ryder, Cole Maples, Baylen Givens, and Kyleigh Grace Wallace. She is also survived by the love of her life and special friend, her dog Esau. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Turner, Spence Turner, Casey Wallace, Seth Eppinette, Daniel Echols, and Samuel Givens. Honorary pallbearer will be a special friend, Johnny Quaid. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Harmony Baptist Church.
