HARRY LOUIS BROWN

SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services to celebrate the life of Harry Louis Brown, 
Jr., 68, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Rose-Neath's 
Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. 
Bob Moore. Interment will follow in Rose-Neath's Cemetery in Bossier City, LA. 
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 
at the funeral home.

 Harry was born on October 22, 1945 at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, 
LA and passed away on August 26, 2014. He was a resident of Shreveport and a 
Methodist. He was in the insurance industry and had great love and affection for 
his family.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry L. Brown, Sr. and Margy Stinson 
Brown.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Kay Barnes Brown; son, Ronald Louis 
Brown; daughters, Cynthia Brown Whorton and husband, Chris and Paula Kay Brown; 
siblings, Ted Louis Brown and wife, Kay and Nelwyn Brown Murphy; numerous 
nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Wayne Thompson, Paul Thompson, Pat Brown, Bobby Joe Graves, 
Russell Barnes, Jermaine Williams, Mark Barnes and Gary Barnes. Honorary 
pallbearers will be Michael Barnes and Orland McDaniel.

 Harry's family suggests memorials be made to Mt. Zion Methodist Church in 
Calhoun, LA or to the 
charity of the donor's choice
