SHIRLEY ANN BROWN
Mulhearn Funeral Home

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Ann Brown, 78, of West Monroe will be held 
at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 14, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
West Monroe with Rev. Tom Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. 
Vernon Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was born July 27, 1930 in Huttig, AR. She was the daughter of the 
late John and Lessie Dorman. Mrs. Brown went to be with the Lord on July 12, 
2009. She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved cooking and planning 
family gatherings. Her children remember her love of playing and singing 
around the piano.

She is preceded in death by her precious husband of almost 50 years, Hugh Roy 
Brown.

She is survived by her four daughters, Patricia Hudgins and husband Bill, Sue 
Thomas and husband Lee, Mary Lee and husband Denny, and Denise Audirsch and 
husband Brent; one son, John C. Brown; granddaughters, Jenny Loftin, Christy 
Russ, Karen Brooks, and April Augerson; grandsons, Charles Thomas, Andrew 
Thomas, Johnny Thomas, Wayne Hudgins, Jon Hudgins, Mark Hudgins, Josh 
Audirsch, Brandon Brown, and Nick Brown; seventeen great grandchildren; 
sister, Jeanette Hinton and husband Bob; and brother, Gene Dorman.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
West Monroe.
