Sally was born July 4, 1942 in Point, Louisiana to Victor Marvis and Cora Reada Albritton. Upon graduating from Downsville High School, she was employed as a bookkeeper for First National Bank in West Monroe. During her 30 years in banking, she received many awards and recognition as a knowledgeable computer programmer. In 1980, she was promoted to Vice President of Louisiana Bank, a bank she helped establish a year earlier. She went into real estate after retiring from banking and for 14 years was consistently recognized as a top producer. In addition to her careers, Sally exemplified the grace of a pastor's wife as she served as an elegant lady alongside her husband in three churches, including 37 years at Rocky Branch Assembly of God. Sally is survived by her husband Eugene Brown; two daughters: Sondra Brown and Rhonda Anzivino (Ralph); grandchildren, Crystal Foster (Scott), Lauren Anzivino, Steffen Anzivino (Kathleen), and Timothy Anzivino; great- grandchildren, Brayden Foster and Kinsleigh Foster; brothers Melvin Albritton (Peggy), Nathan Albritton (Shirley), Lynn Albritton (Sharon), Jarvin Albritton and Kalan Albritton (Rhonda); sisters Marlene Thornhill, Linda Wolf (Jeff); Dora Martin; and Debbie Albritton; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at The Assembly, 715 Cypress Street in West Monroe. Officiating will be Douglas Fulenwider and Louis Bartet. Interment will follow at Halsey Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The Assembly in West Monroe. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Sally Brown Memorial Fund for Missions, Rocky Branch Assembly of God, 167 Rocky Branch Road, Farmerville, LA 71241 to support worthy missionaries.
