NANCY SHOPHER BROWN

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Shopher Brown are scheduled for 2 P.M. Friday, 
May 15, 2015 in Golden's Chapel with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will 
follow in Hughes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 P.M. until 2 
P.M. service time Friday.

Mrs. Brown, a homemaker and resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Tuesday, May 
12, 2015, at the age of 74. She lived a simple life and was a mother to many 
boys as they were growing up.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dewey A. Brown; daughter, Pamela K. 
DeLony; Son, Bobby A. Brown and wife Crystal; sisters, Jewell Hemphill and 
husband O'Neal and Ruby Duplissey and husband J.M.; grandchildren, Brandy K. 
Bayless, Shannon S. Bayless, and Allen-Michael Brown; great grandchildren, 
Brayden Bayless and Gunner Brown.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her father, Olen Shopher; mother, Frances 
Shopher and brother, Joe Shopher.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Galloway, Allen Galloway, Kevin Kelly, 
Jason Duncan, James Jones, Shannon Bayless and Allen-Michael Brown. Honorary 
pallbearer will be Gerald Wallace.
