BETTY HADDON BROWN

Funeral services for Betty Haddon Brown, 89, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM 
Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. David Roberts 
officiating. Interment will follow at Sibley Cemetery under the direction of 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe.

Mrs. Brown died Tuesday, Sep. 29, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center. She loved 
reading books and listening to music. She loved swimming and visiting Edisto 
Island, South Carolina. Mrs. Brown volunteered at North Monroe Hospital and 
also volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Rev. G. Preston 
Brown, Sr.; daughters, Barbara Davis and Judy Brown; brother, George Haddon.

Survivors include children, Linda Davidson of Monroe, Preston Brown and wife 
Patty of Monroe; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous 
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Davidson, Dan Stanislas, Nathan Brown and Christopher 
Brown.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at the funeral 
home.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to her friends that were praying for 
her and loved her very much.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Society 
of St. Vincent de Paul.
