NEVA BETH KILPATRICK BROWN

Funeral services for Neva Beth Kilpatrick Brown of West Monroe will be held 
this Friday, at 2:00 at Pleasant Hill Church, West Monroe. Pastor Michael Sims 
will be officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery, 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mrs. Brown was born August 27, 1928, in West Monroe, Louisiana and passed away 
on January 24, 2016, in West Monroe, and was a lifelong resident of West 
Monroe. Mrs. Brown was also a lifelong member of her beloved Pleasant Hill 
Church. She worked at Lenwil Elementary School for over twenty years. Mrs. 
Brown was dearly loved by her family and friends, and always had a positive 
word to say about everyone. Mrs. Brown was an avid reader, loved to play games 
and loved to travel.

Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her husband, Howard (Tony) Brown, Jr., her 
sister, Mona Faye Kilpatrick, and her twin sister, Eva Kilpatrick Bonnette. She 
is survived by her brothers, Bobby Kilpatrick and wife, Betty Kilpatrick, Ralph 
Kilpatrick and wife, Sharon Kilpatrick, her sister, Myrle White and husband, 
Jimmy White, her children, Judy Brown Burchett, Vicky Brown Powell, John Brown 
and Shelia Brown, his wife, and Scott Brown; 10 grandchildren, Brian Sweitzer, 
Jennifer Wright, Casey Gray, Katey Stimek, Megan Dutton, Katherine Norton, 
Brandon Brown, Andrew Brown, Jenny Brown, and Ethan Brown; 14 great-
grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, and numerous other family members 
and friends.

The family would like to thank Rosemont Assisted Living and Louisiana Hospice 
for their wonderful care and support.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
