Officiating the service will be Rev. Paul Carter with Rev. Rubin Weaver Assisting. Interment will follow in Liberty Taylor Cemetery in Farmerville under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. He was born on October 23, 1927 in Hamburg, AR. and passed away on April 2, 2017 in Monroe, LA. Mr. Brown was a retired boiler room Supervisor for the International Paper Company and a veteran of the U.S Army. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a Judge for the American Kennel Club. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Ray Brown, and Edith Brown, brother, Charles William Brown, and sister, Betty Hobbs. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Margie Albritton Brown of Farmerville, LA; daughter, Vickie Parks of Lewisville, TX; two grandchildren, Keith Parks and Kellie Parks; two great-granddaughters; three brothers, Bobby Brown, James Brown, and John Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the church.
