West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Horace Q. "Buddy" Buckley Jr., 65, of West Monroe, LA 
will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 16, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, West Monroe with his nephew, Rev. Charles Dupree officiating. 
Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel.

Mr. Buckley passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009. He was a member of the 
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mr. Buckley spent his career 
working at Selig Manufacturing until he retired in 1983. After retirement, he 
spent twelve years working part-time for Michael's Arts and Crafts.

Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Helen White Buckley; son, 
Horace "Buddy" Buckley, III of Houston, TX; daughter, Vicky Buckley Chelette 
and husband, Dale of West Monroe; two grandchildren, Alyssa Marie Chelette and 
Justin Dale Chelette of West Monroe; and sisters, Inez Cavey of Baltimore, MD, 
Jane Dupree of Swartz, LA, and Corda Queen of West Monroe.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Rugg, Jessie Flower, Robert Murphy, Dale 
Chelette, Kerry Moulder, and A.J. Corrent.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral 
Home, West Monroe.
