Thursday February 14, 2013 at the North Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe, LA with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA Mrs. Ginni Burford went to be with her Savior on Monday, February 11, 2013. Mrs. Burford was a graduate of Bastrop High School and Northeast Louisiana University. She has dutifully served as a Ouachita Parish Teacher at Sterlington Elementary School for the past 24 years, and also has lovingly served in the children's ministry of NMBC for many years. Mrs. Burford is preceded in death by her father, Mr. James M. Orr and mother, Mrs. Elizabeth K. Orr of Bastrop, LA. Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, Lee R. Burford; three daughters, and their husbands, Mindy and Bryan Adams, LeAnne and Kendall Haley, and Ashley and Patrick Murray; six grandchildren, Fisher and Andy Adams, Brodie and Claire Haley, and Eileen and Colin Murray all of Monroe, LA; brothers, Jimmy Orr and wife, Michelle of Fairhope, AL, and David Orr and wife, Phyllis of Annapolis, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Adams, Ken Burford, Justin Orr, Brad Tynes, Chip Wells, and Douglas Yarbrough. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at North Monroe Baptist Church in Monroe. The family wishes to extend their thanks to their loving church family of North Monroe Baptist Church and amazing friends in the communities of Monroe, Sterlington, and Bastrop. Your support and love has made her passing a true celebration of the life she shared with so many. Memorials may be made to the NMBC Children's Ministry or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
