Graveside services for Mr. Lonzo L. Burgess, 82, of Monroe, will be held at 
10:00 AM Monday, March 16, 2009, at Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA with 
Rev. Roger Stoffer and Rev. Jerry Chapman officiating. Services are under the 
direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mr. Burgess passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at St. Francis Medical Center. 
He was member of Memorial Baptist Church and retired as shop foreman with 
Century Ready-Mix after 23 years of service. Mr. Burgess was a U. S. Army 
veteran of WWII.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Burgess; two daughters, Cindy Dunn and Dean 
Neville; brother, Leslie W. Burgess; sisters, Alease Irvine, Maudine White, 
Lou Ann Trim, and Ollie Belle Clark; numerous grandchildren, great 
grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and step children, Eddie Leonard, and 
Marsha Leonard.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe.
