SYBIL MARIE BURNUM

Sybil Marie Burnum, age 88, of Jonesboro passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at 
Forest Haven Nursing Home. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother,
her family was her world. She worked until the age of 82.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Southern
Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services will follow at 1:00PM in the Chapel with
Bro. Hayward

Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services will follow at 1:00PM in 
the Chapel with Bro. Hayward Hossler officiating. Interment will be in Jo
Jonesboro Cemetery.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Sharon Taylor, Becky Treadway and 
husband Eddie, Jan Towery and husband Randy; 5 grandchildren, Randy Treadway 
and wife Rhona, Sandy Taylor and fiance Jason, Stacey Walker and husband Darin, 
Richie Towery, Joanna Lyles and husband Alan; 11 great-grandchildren; last 
great-great-granddaughter on the way; brother, Billy Bryant and wife Mary; 
sister, Philodean Stewart; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and fr
friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katie (Mathews) Bryant; 
sisters, Helen Johnson, Doris Wallace; brothers, Gerald "Red" Bryant, Tommy 
Bryant; son-in-law, Travis Taylor.

Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Dark, Matthew Dark, Landon Treadway, 
Garrett Towery, Tyler Walker, Zackary Lyles, Ethan Taylor and Dylan Towery. 
Honorary pallbearer will be Hunter Treadway serving in the US Marine Corp 
stationed in Japan.
