CHARLES A. BUTCHER

Funeral services for Mr. Charles A. "Charlie" Butcher, 75, of Farmerville will 
be 10:00am Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Farmerville First Assembly of God 
with Bro. Robbie Lawson and Bro. Bill Bearden officiating. Burial will follow 
in Zion Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Farrar Funeral 
Home.

Charlie went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 13, 2013. He was a 
loving husband, father and grandfather (affectionately known as "Big Pop"); 
was a faithful member of Farmerville First Assembly of God and a past member 
of the Board of Directors. He took pleasure in working outdoors and watching 
his grandsons play ball. Charlie had a sense of humor and enjoyed joking 
around. After retiring from General Motors, he thoroughly enjoyed his time 
working at Farrar Funeral Home because he loved to help people. 

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Clara Butcher, sister, Ann 
Marie Butcher, brother, Earl Butcher, Jr.; in-laws, Earline & Monroe Tucker; 
brothers-in-law, Jimmy Tucker, Bobby Courmier & Mike Rhodes & wife, Dimple; 
and nephew, Michael S. Rhodes.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Butcher of Farmerville; 2 
daughters: Tammy King & husband, Gary "Sky" of Harrison, AR and Sherri 
Cranford & husband, John "Bull" of Farmerville; 2 sisters: Ethel Doucette & 
husband, Weldon of Westlake, LA and Carol Dean Courmier of Lake Charles, LA; 6 
grandchildren: Matt Odom & wife, Reyna, Dustin Odom & wife, Brittney, 
Christopher Cranford & wife, Tammy, Amber Cranford, Tyler Cranford and Halie 
Keiffer & husband, Charlie; 9 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives 
and many friends.

Pallbearers are Matt Odom, Dustin Odom, Christopher Cranford, Tyler Cranford, 
John Cranford and Gary King. Honorary pallbearers are Halie Keiffer, Amber 
Cranford and the men of Farmerville First Assembly of God Church.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Tuesday at the church.
