THOMAS CURTIS BUTTITTA

Private family graveside services for Mr. Thomas Curtis Buttitta, 66, of West 
Monroe, LA, were held Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Buttitta Cemetery under 
the direction of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe. The service was 
officiated by Father Robert Dandridge.

Mr. Buttitta was born August 22, 1948 in Monroe, LA and passed away on November 
17, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. He is preceded in death by his father, Jack 
Michael Buttitta. He ran his 11th New York Marathon in November, 2010. He loved 
music of any kind, especially The Beatles and Pavoratti, all sports, especially 
baseball, pretty ladies and a cold Stella beer. He enjoyed his recent trip to 
the beach to witness his niece's wedding, New Orleans to watch the high school 
play offs and Las Vegas, where he saw Beatles Love. Tommy loved family more 
than anything and time spent with them were his favorite times.

Survivors include his two children, Andrew and Rebecca Buttitta of Orlando, FL; 
two grandchildren, Grace and Gabriella; mother, Connie Osborne; three sisters, 
Marana Parker and husband Hughie, Sara Tolbert, Gina Walker and her husband 
Lyn; two brothers, John Buttitta and wife, Helen, Jack Buttitta and numerous 
nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thanks to Louis and Brianna at the Guest House for the special care 
they provided for Tommy. He will be missed by all who loved him and his smile 
will forever be etched in our minds.
