WILLIS WALTON CALDWELL

Funeral Services for Mr. Willis "Willie" Walton Caldwell, 83, of West 
Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the 
Highland Baptist Church West Monroe, LA with Rev. Laymond Tucker 
officiating. Interment will follow in the Drew Cemetery West Monroe, LA 
under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Caldwell was born on May 14, 1931 and passed away on October 18, 2014 in 
West Monroe, LA. He was a retired oilfield worker with Exxon and also a 
United States Navy Veteran. Willie loved spending time with his family, 
especially his grandkids and great grandkids. Raising cattle was a big part 
of his life, it was a passion. He loved old country and blue grass music and 
was always ready for a fish fry.

Survivors include his daughter, Vicki Caldwell Knighten and husband, Ted; 
son, Willis Walton Caldwell, Jr.; grandchildren, Heather Idzik and husband, 
Karl, Holly Whittington and husband, Clint, and Haylee Ray and husband, 
Ryan; six great grandchildren, Brilley, Drew, Kailey, Ella Kate, Paisley and 
Easton; sisters, Gertrude Middleton and Rose Nash; along with numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Cody Beach, Casey Beach, Charles Beach, Chuck Cook, Walt 
Caldwell, and Luther Hutto.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary Downs, Delbert Cotton, and Don Caldwell.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 21, 
2014 at Highland Baptist Church West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to the Highland Baptist Church.
