LYDIA CHRISTINA NICHOLS CALLAGHAN





Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Christina Nichols Callaghan, 67, of Aberdeen, 
MS, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Grace Episcopal Church 
with The Rev. Frank W. Hughes, Ph.D officiating. Interment will follow at 
Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
Sterlington Road, Monroe.



Lydia passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center. 
Lydia was a loving mother to Lydia, John and Ruby Callaghan. She loved animals, 
books, good food and travel. She lived all over the world including New York 
City, London and Australia before settling in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Her 
friends and family will remember her for her charisma and great story-telling. 
She volunteered at the Aberdeen Animal Shelter.



Survivors include her children, Lydia, John and Ruby Callaghan; brother, Steve 
Nichols, and granddaughters, Faye & Madeleine Weiss, Missy & Piper Callaghan.
