Frank Coens officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Choudrant, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mrs. Campbell died July 31, 2012 at the West Monroe Guest House after a lengthy illness. Ms. Alice was a member of the St. Paschal Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Selman Field Historical Society, and West Ouachita Line Dancers. She retired from the Ouachita Parish Health Unit after 28 years of service. Mrs. Campbell loved dancing very much, was a great cook, and was a very giving person. Although confined to a wheel chair and on dialysis, she was a great inspiration to many others. She kept a wonderful and joyous attitude, and did not let her disabilities keep her from doing many things she enjoyed. She was greatly loved and will be missed by many. Thanks to all at the West Monroe Guest House for your great love and care of our mother. That was truly her home for which she cared dearly. Thank you very much Dr. Floyd Jones for your love and care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. George M. Campbell, Sr. She is survived by her sons, George M. Campbell, Jr., Doug Campbell and spouse Lauren: daughters, Geralyn Rue and husband, Eric, Jeanne Willems and husband John: grandchildren, Dustin Campbell, Mellissa Campbell Crowell and husband John, Rachael and Ryan Rue, Callie Harrigan: great grandchildren, Haley Campbell and John Crowell Jr., Carlee Campbell: brother, Anthony Ticheli: numerous nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be Mike Monk, Michael Monk Jr., Colin Campbell, Clint Campbell, Ryan Rue, and John Willems. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 2, 2012, with a Vigil Wake Service at 6:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Memorials may be made to the activities department at the West Monroe Guest House, 1007 Glenwood Drive, West Monroe, LA 71291.
