Mrs. Campbell was born on December 27, 1929, to Margaret and George Lothian of Edinburgh, Scotland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles R. Campbell. Survivors include her children, George M. Campbell and wife Linda of Monroe, Shelia K. Campbell of Prairieville, Louisiana, and Scherron Campbell of West Monroe; grandchildren, Monica Haddock and husband David, Catherine Creed and husband Christian, Allyson Campbell, Mennon Campbell and wife Abby, Patrick Campbell and wife Christina, Adam Hergert and wife Nicole, and Victoria H. Torok; and great-grandchldren, Cate and Campbell Creed, Dayton and Natalie Campbell, Lucille Campbell, Hayden and Morgan Haddock and Emily and Alyssa Hergert. Margaret was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and an award winning artist. She was an active member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church for over 20 years. She was also a very active member of the Ouachita Parish Council on Aging. She was an extremely loving person who never met a stranger and was an amazingly strong woman who could do anything when she put her mind to it. She was truly an inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. A private family memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe. The family would like to express thanks and appreciation to her caregivers, management and staff of Rosemont Assisted Living and Alzheimer's Community in West Monroe.
