Michael Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Elaine was born July 28, 1937 in Rayville, LA to Audrey Farmer Beach and William Walter "Jack" Beach. She passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Elaine and her husband Richard Lee Campbell celebrated 61 years of marriage on December 22, 2016. Elaine was a loving, devoted and dedicated wife and mother. Her life long career as a mother, homemaker and caregiver touched more lives than could possibly be listed. Her life was her family. Elaine was an excellent cook, seamstress and loved entertaining in her home for many years. Although her life as she knew it was cut short at age 51 by a brain aneurysm and stroke, she continued her journey by her positive disposition and love for others. She fought hard to overcome the disabilities of the aneurysm, stroke and later battled colon and breast cancer as well as numerous strokes. Never once did she give up or complain about anything. She was always a positive, loving lady. Mrs. Campbell is preceded in death by her parents, William Walter "Jack" and Aubrey Farmer Beach. Sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Newton Horne, infant sister, Evalina Beach, brother-in-law Charlie Mock, nephew Alan Mock, niece Barbara Horne Vines. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Richard Lee Campbell, daughter and son-in-law Tina and Bo Wilkes, daughter and son-in-law Lori and Danny Saterfield, three grandsons, Tyler Lee Saterfield, Johnathan Dean Saterfield and Connor Edward Wilkes. One sister Audrey Mock, a niece Cathy Horne Lenard and nephew, Rev. Newton "Bo" Horne, special friends Joe E. Wilkes, Lisa Smith and Nicci Wall and a host of family and friends. Pallbearers will be Steven Hemphill, Walter Stapleton, Zach Hobbs, Dustin Conville, Wade Jackson and Mark McClain. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
