Warren Eckhardt officiating and interment to follow at Monroe Memorial Park under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA. "GeGe" was born on February 28, 1930 in Birmingham, AL and passed away on March 11, 2009 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church since 1956 and a member of Faith Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, B. J. Carlton; her mother, Goldie Bowden; sister, Geraldine Kinnett; granddaughter, Karen Leigh Ann Carlton and great grandson, Ethan Thomas Cook. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Tucker and husband, Tommy of Prairieville, LA; son, David Carlton and wife Caryn of Holden, LA; daughter, Jo Alice Olin and husband, Bill of Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Kristi and Jimmy Delaune and Kim and Smokey Cook, all of Prairieville, LA, Matt and Carrie Tucker of Baton Rouge, LA, Ben and Michelle Carlton of Walker, LA, Amanda and Brett McMurry of Monroe, LA, Cassie and Kevin Berthelot of Greenwell Springs, LA, Angela, Andrew and Aaron Carlton of Holden, LA; great-grandchildren, Connor Cook, MacKenzie, Jacob and Taylor Delaune, all of Prairieville, LA, Joshua Tucker of Baton Rouge, Cooper Carlton of Walker, LA, and Decatur and Ana Gail McMurry of Monroe, LA. Pallbearers will be Matt Tucker, Jimmy Delaune, Smokey Cook, Ben Carlton, Kevin Berthelot, and Brett McMurry. Honorary pallbearers will be Barney Tucker, Scotty Barnes, Gene Ford, Lynn Fant, Hugh Vick, and O. D. Korn.
