A private family service will be held Thursday with interment at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Mrs. Carr died Monday, August 4, 2014, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was loving, caring, and supportive of all her family and friends. Mrs. Carr will be remembered not only as a mother to her own family, but as a mother to everyone as well. She loved being a grandmother. Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Nora Butler Pace. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, J. Dwight Carr of Monroe; children, J. Scott Carr and wife Linda of Forney, TX, Randy Carr and wife Jean of Monroe; grandchildren, Heather Carr of Bossier City, LA, Geoffrey Carr and wife Monique of Alexandria, LA, Bret Carr of Monroe, LA, Sara Carr Rehus of Monroe, LA, Cathy Zmolik and husband Patrick of Forney, TX, Jason Parks and wife Kristi of St. Cloud, FL, Jonathan Webster and wife Lindsey of Monroe, LA, Mary Rachal and husband Ryan of New Orleans, LA, Mackenzie Webster and Chris Noren of Monroe, LA; and six great grandchildren.
