Brown-Holley Funeral Home

Funeral services for Bobbie Jean Hutson Carter, 73, of Archibald, will be held 
at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Archibald Church of Christ with 
Bro. Travis Arrant, Bro. Karl Huff, and Bro. Stanley Fortenberry officiating. 
Burial will follow in Gwin Cemetery in Mangham, under the direction of Brown-
Holley Funeral Home in Rayville.

Bobbie Carter was born on August 30, 1935 and passed away on Saturday, 
September 13, 2008.

Mrs. Carter was a member of Archibald Church of Christ. She was preceded in 
death by her parents, Oscar and Ollie Burgess; husband, Noble Hutson; 6-
sisters and 4-brothers.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Carter of Archibald; children, Noble 
Wayne Hutson of Archibald, Donna Jean Hutson Singley and husband, David of 
Archibald, Ronnie Lynn Hutson and wife, Beatrice of Start; step children, 
Lawrence "Sonny" Carter, Jr. and wife, Connie of Dallas, TX and Randy Carter 
and wife, Faye of Baskin; 11-grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and 
her sister, Myrta Avants of Rayville.

Pallbearers will be Michael Hutson, Jessie Hutson, Dee Hutson, William 
Joseph "B.J." Hutson, Evan Chance Fleming, and Perry Fleming.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David "Rusty" Singley, Jr., Jamye Nelson, and 
Arthur Joe Bradford.

Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Monday, at the Archibald Church 
of Christ.
