EDWARD T. CARTER

West Monroe, LA

Funeral services for Mr. Edward T. Carter, 85, of Calhoun, LA, will be 
Tuesday, March 17th, 2009, at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home of West Monroe with Rev. Frank Sellers officiating.

Born October 14, 1923, in Grant Parish, LA, he was the son of the late John E. 
and Mary Anaise Parque Carter. Mr. Carter was the manager of the news stand at 
the Federal Court House in Monroe for many years. He later ran the snack stand 
at LSUS Conway Medical Center for 16 years until he retired. Mr. Carter passed 
away Saturday, March 14th, 2009, in West Monroe.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Landry Carter; three daughters and their 
spouses, Brenda and Bob Hendricks, Wanda and Dean Foster, and Claudia and Tony 
Concelli; his sister, Mary Carter Hobgood; grandchildren, Billy Ray Baker, 
April Foster Duckworth, Shawn Foster, Jennifer Concelli, and Matt Concelli and 
his girlfriend, Caitlin Brown; and great grandchildren, Morgan and Chloe 
Baker, Bryce Johnson, and Jordan Duckworth.

Pallbearers are Bob and Joey Hendricks, Dean and Shawn Foster, Tony and Matt 
Concelli, and Tommy Tyler.

Visitation will be Monday evening, March 16th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1321 N. 7th Street, West Monroe, LA.
