Services for Rev. John L. Causey of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:30 AM 
on Monday, September 28, 2009 at Hyde Park Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA 
Officiating will be Bro. Don McCormick, and Bro. Jeff Luellen. Internment will 
follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA under the 
direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Rev. Causey passed from this life on Friday, September 25 at Glenwood Regional 
Medical Center. He was born June 21, 1936 and was 73 years old.

Rev. Causey is preceded in death by his wife Mary Janice Grafton Causey, his 
parents.

He is survived by his daughters, Donna Murphree and husband Terry, and Debbie 
Beck and husband John; grandsons Andy Cockerham and Nick Cockerham; step-
granddaughter Robin Beck; several other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Richard Fewell Sr., Richard Fewell Jr., John Temple, Josh 
Luellen, Mark Barbaree, and Gerald Shepherd Sr.

Honorary pallbearers Tony Squyres, and Bill Frost.

Special thanks to Louisiana Extended Care Hospital.

Visitation will be Sunday September 27, 2009 from 2PM until 5PM at Kilpatrick 
Funeral Home in West Monroe.
