COLLEEN B. CHAPMAN


Funeral services for Mrs. Colleen B. Chapman, 81, will be 10am Saturday, 
December 22, 2012 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at Rocky Branch with Rev. 
Brian McAllister, Rev. Ryan Chapman, and Rev. Michael Howard officiating. 
Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Griffin 
Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mrs. Chapman was born on January 29, 1931 and passed from this life on 
Wednesday December 19, 2012 at her residence after an extended illness.

She was a resident of Union Parish, a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill 
Baptist Church. Her joy was sending cards for all events and occasions; being 
of support and help to those in sorrow. She was a devoted Mom and Mamaw who 
gave love and care to all of her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Elizabeth Barton; her 
husband William Chapman; her granddaughter Amanda Shinn, her siblings Sonny 
Barton, Clara Weatherly and Joann Pirtle.

She is survived by her children Richard Chapman and wife Jane, Pam Cleveland 
and husband Lyn all of Rocky Branch; her grandchildren Matt Chapman, Carey 
Griffen, Ryan Chapman and Melissa Ferrington; also survived by 14 great 
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of Family and Friends.

Pallbearers will be J. C. Honeycutt, Gary Chapman, Phillip Smith, Troy Chapman 
Jr., Earl Babineau and James Chapman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Chapman, Gene Chapman, and Paul Chapman.

Friends may call for visitation on Friday 5pm until 8pm at the church 10267 
Highway 143 Farmerville.
