Reverend Tony Smith will officiate. The visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the church. Bobbie was born on September 9, 1927 in Baskin, LA and left for her heavenly home on July 28, 2015 in Rayville, LA after a long, fulfilling life. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years A. J. "Bob" Chapman, her mother Zelma Dollar Magee Lyles, her father Allen Otho Magee, her sister Doris Floriece Magee Miller, and her brothers Delmas Magee and Van Magee. She has left behind many whom she has loved and whom she will meet again someday. Bobbie is survived by her children, Joe and Sandy Chapman, Delores and Mike Danley, and Terri and Doug White; her grandchildren, Shonda and Robert Bazer, Wade Danley, Stacey and Terry Deere, Joey and Brandy Williams, Jessica and Scott Bailey, Maggie and Shawn Downhour, Bailey White, and Jeani Danley Townsend; her great-grandchildren, Jessie Bazer, Chapman Bazer, Britt and Randi Danley, Gage and Amber Trichell, Tanner Danley, Gracie Deere, Ford Deere, Taylor Williams, Zane Williams, Cade Bailey, and Cole Bailey; and one great- great- granddaughter, Lively Danley. She also leaves one brother, Carl Magee and his wife Geraldine, a sister-in-law, Betty Magee Jerge, and an honorary son, Robert Fobbs. Bobbie was a faithful member of Little Creek Methodist Church for seventy years. She worked with her husband at the Richland Gin Company in Mangham for several years. She was a very talented seamstress and did beautiful embroidery which she gave to her children and grandchildren to enjoy for many generations to come. She set aside many of her personal ambitions in order to make sure her family had all of the attention they needed. She always considered her family to be her greatest accomplishment. When we, her family, remember Mama / Mammaw, we will think of Christmas mornings as we feasted on her homemade cinnamon rolls, long talks of days gone by when she was a little girl, how she met Daddy while she was sitting on top of a "bread box" in front of a store in Archibald, of a little red purse that she got one Christmas when she was a girl and was so proud of, how she attended every event in which her children were involved when they were young, how there was always an after-school snack waiting for us at home, and a million other things that are now more important than we ever imagined. Serving as pallbearers are Robert Fobbs, Robert Bazer, Levy Lord, Joey Williams, Gage Trichell, Roland Jerge, Scott Bailey, and Shawn Downhour.
