BOBBYE HEARNE CHAPMAN


Columbia - Funeral services for Bobbye Hearne Chapman will be held at 10 AM
Tuesday, September 19 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA with
Bro. Bubba Tucker, Rev. Amanda Carpenter and Don Burns officiating. Burial will
follow at Cross Roads Cemetery, Grayson, LA. Visitation will be Monday,
September 18 from 5 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Bobbye was born February 28, 1933 in Columbia to the union of her parents, James
and Della (Banks) Hearne and she passed from this life on September 17, 2017 at
her home in Grayson. She worked as a teller for over 30 years at Caldwell Bank
and Trust Co. in Columbia where she always had a friendly smile for her
customers. Since her retirement she was able to focus on her favorite pastime of
quilting. Bobbye was an active member of Grayson United Methodist Church. She
will be sorely missed by her family and friends who all loved her dearly. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Chapman and her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rhonda Whitten and husband, Eddie;
her grandchildren: Lane Dale, Leah Jacks and husband, Jesse; her best friend and
guardian angel, Ann Lafferty; and numerous cousins. She also leaves behind her
little dog, Toby.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Patrick, Quinn Kelly, Philip Shelton, Jeff
Bailes, Wes Burns, Tommy Whitten, Keith Whitten, and Toby Sutherlin.
