ROBERT JOSEPH CHAPPELLIE

Robert Joseph "Robin" Chappellie, age 58 of Mandeville, LA passed away on 
Saturday, September 06, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer and won 
his reward.

He was born Saturday, October 15, 1955 in Pontiac, MI to Joseph Chappellie 
and Shirley Harp Chappellie. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sandy, 
children Matt (Kellye) and Katy, father Joseph Chappellie (Jean), brother 
Charles Michael Chappellie (Sandy), mother-in-law Marianne McClure, sister-
in-law Karen Westerhold (Carl), brother-in-law Stephen McClure (Aimee), 
aunts Katherine Harp Talley and Emrey Liles Harp, and numerous nieces, 
nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother Shirley Harp 
Chappellie, and father-in-law Bud McClure.

Robin was a loving husband and proud father. He was a coach, a high school 
football official, and a sports enthusiast. He graduated from Louisiana Tech 
University Cum Laude and with a MBA in Accounting. Robin was a former 
employee of CenturyTel and currently was the Director of Internal Audit at 
Tulane University. He loved to serving the Lord as a deacon and volunteering 
where needed. He served as past presidents of LACUA, Ouachita Parish FCA, 
and the Cheniere Drew Water System. Robin also was on the board of the West 
Monroe Boys and Girls Club. He was an active member in the AICPA, LCPA, IIA, 
and ACUA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, 
September 09, 2014, at 1:00 PM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home 2260 West 21st 
Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM. Also, 
visitation on Friday, September 12 , 2014, at 1:00 PM at Emmanuel Baptist 
Church 5850 Buncombe Rd., Shreveport, LA 71129, with memorial service to 
follow at 2:00 PM.

In Lieu of flowers donation may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, 
1203 S Tyler St # 100, Covington, LA 70433-2353 (www.marybird.org).
