She was born on April 4, 1940, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 14, 2015, at the age of 75. Vicki was born and raised on a farm in Turon, KS; she loved the way the dirt felt in her hands and freedom that came along with growing up in that era. Vicki had a love for horses, cats, dogs, art, painting, drawing, writing poetry, short stories and a passion for growing flowers year round. She continued her endeavors for growing flowers, gardening, and caring for animals on a 400 acre dairy farm in Crane, MO. She devoted her life there to raising her children in a Godly manner and a love for all of God's creation. After her children had grown and moved on with their lives, she devoted her time as an advocate for farmers that had been discriminated against. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gayla Gold of Crane, MO; her son, Dennie Chase of Collinston, LA; and her brother, Richard Tubbs of Bellingham, WA. Survivors include: A husband, Dennis; her daughter, Juli Novack and husband Ron of West Monroe, LA; her son, Andy Chase and wife Tina of West Monroe, LA; a brother, Kenneth Dye and wife Karen of Newkirk, OK; and a sister, Ann Meyers and husband John of Tonkawa, OK. Vicki has 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She also had many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe with Rev. Chad Merrell officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday.
