Dale Walker officiating. Burial will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Christian was born February 14, 1949, in Monroe, LA and died Tuesday, December 21, 2004, in Monroe, LA. She was employed at Guide Plant in Monroe where she was one of the original organizers of UAW Local 1977, was appointed Benefit Rep to members of the Local and had served until the present time. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorthy Nicklson Tarrance and Reagan Tarrance, owners of the Saddle and Spur. Survivors include her son, Reagan "Rocky" Pierce and wife Stephanie of Monroe; daughter, Miranda Pierce of Monroe; grandson, Nathan Pierce (the light of her life); and brother Ricky Tarrance. Pallbearers will be Gerald King, T. J. Moore, Larry Elliot, Daren Richey, Roger Smith, and Charlie Bower. Honorary pallbearers will be officers of UAW Local 1977. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
