She was 61 years of age. Diane was preceded in death by her parents Nellie Clapper Stone and Clinton Stone of Columbia Falls, Montana. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, David Henry Christman, Jr., their son Chief Warrant Officer II David Henry Christman III and his wife Christine of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, their daughter Deana Christman Burkhart and her husband Chief Warrant Officer III Shane Burkhart of Clarksville, Tennessee. Diane is also survived by grandchildren Cole Brent Burkhart, Grant Wylie Burkhart, Jocelyn Leigh Burkhart, and Taylor Elaine Burkhart of Clarksville, Tennessee, a sister, Cher Stone Johnson and husband Cliff of Kalispell, Montana, brothers John Stone and wife Barbara of Reno, Nevada, and Dale Stone and wife Lynn of Columbia Falls, Montana, brothers-in- law Albert C. Christman and wife Caroline of Delhi, Clovis Christman and wife Tawney of Monroe, sisters-in-law Nauvoo Christman of Winnsboro, and Kaye Christman Shively and husband Clayton of Minden. Diane was an office manager for Delta American Healthcare for 13 years where she enjoyed working with the wonderful family of caring colleagues and staff. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved painting and spending time with her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the First Baptist Church chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, March 7. Private graveside services will be held at a later time. The family request that any memorials be given to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 5, Delhi, Louisiana 71232.
