Preston E. Christy, 66 of West Monroe, a retired OlinKraft employee, will be at
2 p.m. Friday, November 7, 1997, at Kilpatrick's West Monroe chapel with Rev.
George Bonner officiating. Burial will be in Twin Cities Memorial Gardens in
West Monroe.

Mr. Christy died Wednesday, November 5, 1997. Mr. Christy was born April 19,
1931 in West Monroe, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and
Laura Christy and brothers, Tommy, Clarence, T.C. and Billy Christy.

Survivors include his wife, Olivee Christy of West Monroe; Son: Randy Christy
and wife Ilene of West Monroe; daughter: Cindy Christy Tidwell and fiancee' Greg
West of West Monroe; three grandsons: Kevin and Kyle Christy of West Monroe, and
Brandon Tidwell of Downsville; one granddaughter: Brandy Tidwell of Downsville;
two brothers: J. C. Christy of West Monroe and James Christy of Florida; three
sisters: I.V Chilton, Florence Williams, and Kathryn Campbell, all of West
Monroe; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Mark Rappold, James Daniel, Mike, Zimmer, Jessie White,
Jamie Stapleton and Merle Bailey. Alternate pallbearers are Mike Davis and Paul
Fernandez.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. til time of service
Friday at Kilpatrick's in West Monroe. The family wishes to extend a special
thanks to the Glenwood Hospice Association and each of the Home Health Care Nurses.
