James Warbington, Rev. Tommy Cotten and Bishop Norris Poole. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park. Polly as she was known to most was born at Wayside Community on Christmas morning 1936, to the union of her parents Floyd and Mary Wollerson Townsend and was received by her Heavenly Father on Wednesday morning September 24, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a resident of Winnsboro; she was a member of Wayside Pentecostal Church; where she served for many years as song leader and Sunday School Teacher; after thirty years as an elementary school teacher she retired, then retired as a licensed funeral director. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Floyd Townsend Jr.; also a host of Townsend and Wollerson aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her husband of over fifty-four years Billy R. Clark; sons Mike, Greg and wife Susie; grandsons John, Michael and Cody Clark; also survived by 11 nieces, 3 nephews, a host of cousins and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Bernard Wolleson, Gerald Wolleson, Warren Wolleson, John Parker, Gary Lynch and Pete Wollerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Clark and Robert Bradley. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Wayside Pentecostal Church 5052 Hwy 4 Winnsboro; 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will resume on Friday at 9:00 am until time of service.
