MAXINE THORN CLARKE

Maxine Thorn Clarke Funeral services for Maxine Thorn Clarke, 81, of Monroe, LA 
will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in the chapel of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe with Rev. Mark Watson officiating. 
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Clarke passed 
away Sunday, February 27, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Thomas Edward Clarke; parents, Lawrence LaSalle Thorn and Laura L. Brown Thorn; 
brothers, Wilson Thorn and Lawrence (Son) Thorn; and sisters, Ida Mae Thorn and 
Jeanette Savelle. Survivors include her daughter, Terri Lynn Clarke Mendez of 
Houston, TX; grandson, Thomas Ricardo Mendez of Houston, TX; sisters, Lavon 
Thorn and Anna L. Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be 
Thomas Mendez, Scott Thorn, Greg Thorn, Geoffrey Thorn, Randy Hagg, and Bryan 
Thorn. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
